However, all Frénzeny's pictures were published by 1909, certainly well before 1924, when new rules might apply.

 

This catalog of Frénzeny pictures seeks to be complete. It is all the pictures that we know about. But Paul Frénzeny sketched all the time, some of these sketches may exist as separate works of art. He probably published pictures in other newspapers and magazines in his time for which we have no information. However if anyone discovers one of these gems, please let us know and we will add an appropriate entry here. We need exact publication information: periodical, year, month, day, issue, volume, and page number. If it is an original sketch then we need the owner's contact information and thephysical details as well as a description of the picture. Just contact the museum with the information:

From the publication dates, Frénzeny had visited Pennsylvania in October of 1872, while he was there he sketched scenes from the coal mines. Harper's didn't use the pictures until February of the next year
