Dies in Darmstadt, West Germany

In his will 1,600 art works were given to the Juedische Museum in Frankfurt, Germany.

Most of the pictures, which show no location information, were once a part of the Marvin and Janet Fishmann Collection, Milkaukee, WI, US. The Fishmanns sold much of their collection of German Expressionist Art in October of 2000 at Sotheby's in London. Where these pictures eventually found homes is unknown, some may not have sold in the auction, some may have gone to museums, most probably went into private hands.
