Note: We need someone to donate a good piano to allow us to do some recordings for our website. We would like a Baby or Full Sized Steinway or Kawai. If you have a rarely used piano consider donating it. It will find a loving home. We are a 501c(3) non-profit organization. We will get a good apparisal for it and provide you with a reciept for a tax deduction. We will pay to have it moved. Just contact the museum by email at: info@tigtail.org |
Membership Center:
Schools and Educational institutions that want access to our resources can get class accounts at moderate rates for limited times. Just contact the museum for more information. Yearly educational rates are also available for institutions. By somewhat dubious demand, many people would like free access to see the large images on the site. For the deserving few one can apply for a TVM Scholarship. For those who would like to see us grant more museum scholarships and would like to contribute $500 or more to help. Just contact the museum by sending email to info@tigtail.org. If you want to place restrictions on what kind of people recieve scholarships, we can try and follow your wishes, but we are limited on what we know about the applicants for scholarships. You will get feedback on who gets the scholarships you fund, how much information will vary according to the wishes of the applicant. Contacting the museum via email has become less reliable because of the amount of spam we recieve, over a thousand messages a day of which more than 99% are junk mail. If you mail gets lost, do try again. We are tring to work out a better scheme for communication. |

| Because the elves are so small it takes time for them to run around the whole museum, so be patient. We recently acquired new speedo shoes made by the Greek god Hephaestus. These shoes have speeded up the Elves considerably. However Elves are not the best possible docents, they tend to take their clues a little too seriously. Our research elves only look for complete words. |
Example Clues: Find all Galleries with: Dali "Dali" Dalí "Dalí" --- with the proper accent on the i
Pablo Picasso both "Pablo" and "Picasso" pablo picasso exactly the same as: Pablo Picasso or PABLO PICASSO for that matter Pablo -Picasso with "Pablo" and no reference to "Picasso" asso may find something, it may not, it will not find "Picasso".
| Note: During the Christmas season there are not as many elves available because they are employed elsewhere. You may get a response that no elf is available to do your search. It only takes a moment or two to search the museum; so if you try again in a few moments you should get lucky and one will have returned. |

Biographical information is spread throughout the musem. Sometimes these are just short summaries after the artist's heading. If you like to read while you look at art there are several fairly detailed biographies with pictures intermixed with the biographical information. These evolved over several years into a chronological outline form. Eventually we will reformat all the biographical material into this form. |
Here are links to these major galleries.
